Description:

Insurance Company in the Midwest has a need for an experienced Property & Casualty Actuarial Student or Actuary. The position will primarily be Commercial Auto Pricing. The position will involve preparing various rate or reserve analysis. The incumbent will provide recommendation on pricing matters, give input on pricing and monitoring of new programs, determine expense reserve recommendations, prepare state filing material, develop management reports, communicate and coordinate activities to support corporate objectives, expand knowledge of generally accepted actuarial methods, maintain adequate knowledge and awareness of industry activities through attendances at seminars, expand knowledge of relevant tools and technologies and perform other duties as assigned. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of property and casualty insurance and good progress with the actuarial examinations.
