Smaller pension administration and consulting firm looking to add a 401K administrator to their staff. Company has been in business since 1975. Concentration lies in the design, installation and annual administration of retirement plans for those individuals seeking the optimal tax-deductible contribution. Company deals with 401k, profit sharing and cross tested plans. Ideal candidate will have some sort of 401K administration experience and preferably less than 5 years experience. Company uses Dat-Air software which would be helpful, but easy to learn as well. Average plan size is in the 10-25 lives category. These typically are accountants, attorneys and financial advisors. The administrator will administer approximately 150-200 plans per year. This includes valuation work, recordkeeping interface and distribution processing. Filing preparation is also a responsibility here.
