West Coast Consulting client is seeking a pension consultant to fill a need in their organization. This group handles a broad range of clients in the mid level market ranging from 500-50,000 lives. Majority of their clients range form 500-3,000 lives. Work involves both pension and post retirement work. Will consider an actuary at the Sr. Consultative level or able to grow into such a role. Excellent communication skills are required. Some light travel to clients will be necessary. Looking for an individual for the long term this client can mold a position around the individual and allow them a chance to grow into the position. This boutique operation is a good alternative to some of the larger consulting firms especially in the work/life tug of war. Their normal work week is 40-45 hours. Will work both pension and post retirement medical. Client base includes Public Sector, Taft Hartley and Single-employer clients. Basic qualification is an EA or close to EA and intending to finish. Work toward ASA or FSA is a plus but not mandatory.
